Don't risk embarrassment with substandard service
There are so many failure points for an international conference call. Most can be avoided with the correct conferencing partner. You absolutely must have access to an operator for every International Conference Call. Why?... because an operator knows the bridge and features better than you or your staff ever will. Because... with our service. 24/7 operator access is included in your cost per minute. Face it, an international conference call is an opportunity to showcase your business and talents around the world the last thing you want to do is embarrass yourself and your company across a global footprint.
We like to think of our operators as Life Guards. Most calls with operator involvement are clients having issues on a international conference call and feel the panic like that of someone drowning. It happens all the time, the international conference call is going badly and seems to be going down the tubes for a number of reasons which we have outline below. Not to worry, as we stated before there are many failure points for an international conference call. Most can be avoided with proper planning and 1st class support. Some are just the nature of the business and can't be avoided which is why you need access to an operator to help you out and offer alternatives.

Additional charges of $0.20 per participant for the operator to call out and add a participant. We use U.S. bridges because... the U.S. is years ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to putting on an International conference call. Most clients have every intention of learning all the functions of the conference bridge but not all your staff will have the same vigor. Our clients not only know they can dial *0 at any time anywhere in the world and get an expert on your international conference call, they rely on it, that is value unmatched.
Below we have outlined how a live operator can assist with your international conference call.
Example one: Let's say 20 participants on a international conference call and as you begin someone's phone is riddled with static and destroying the quality of the call. No problem dial *0 for the operator and the operator will enter the call and identify which line is causing the static. The operator can mute just that line for you or ask the participant to call back in on a better quality line. Sometimes a participant will put the call on hold and the on hold music will begin to play into the conference. Have the operator just mute the line or disconnect it from the conference call. The operator is there for you and does this at no additional charge.
Example two: You expect 40 participants on a conference call you are discussing a new beneficial service your company is now offering. only 20 participants show up for the meeting. You wait about 10 minutes and decide to start the meeting without the 20 missing. No problem you canpress *2 and have your conference recorded an operator can also do this for you if you don't have access to you star commands. There is no charge for the operator or the recording. All is included with our $0.079 rate per participant. You can record as many conferences as you wish for no additional charge.
Example three: For an international conference call we offer toll free service in 50 countries at additional costs. These costs are most competitive in the industry. It's a double edge sword because offering an international toll free number is nice for bill consolidation alone but some international toll free numbers restrict cell phones and most payphones in europe restrict toll free numbers it's a fraud issue and a battle on the network side. Lot's of european's use cell phones as there main line of communication. It is not uncommon to have participants on a international conference call using a payphone. Here in the US the payphone went the way of the out house, we just don't have them anymore except for metro hubs like airports. This is the nature of the industry. For some countries we provide an additional toll free number for cell phones but the costs are quite a bit higher.
So, how do we solve this one? Another international conference call 20 people 15 are on the call the other 5 are calling you at the office or on your cell phone telling you they can't get on the call, this is fixable. As the leader in the conference you can call out through the bridge and add the 5 missing parties. The rate is actually less that the toll free rates. You can give the 5 participants a U.S. number that will get them in the call. You can also zero out to the operator an the operator will call the parties for you and add them to your conference. There is a surcharge of $0.20 cents per minute for each caller an operator brings into a conference for you. I can't tell you how impressive this is to the participant it takes a very ugly international conference call and turns it into an impressive experience.
Example four: You have a large international conference call of over 50 people and you have three presenters that will be speaking all at different locations. On the international conference call you want to put the participants in lecture mode and give access to the speakers. You can zero out to the operator and the operator will assist you. Sometimes the operator will instruct all the speakers to dial back in with leader codes if one or more of the speakers used participant codes to enter the conference call. The operator will put all the participants into lecture mode. At the end of the call you can remove the lecture mode either through the operator or a star 5 command and proceed with Q&A.
